About a month after the 1st of the year, my gym starts seeing fewer visitors, the produce aisle isn’t as crowed, and life, unfortunately, goes back to the sad normal it was prior to the first of the year. What happened? People’s motivation from setting New Year’s goals has waned and that high is no longer there. It’s time to reevaluate and attack once more, but most tend to just move on.
